How does it work?

1) Register, create your organisation, unlimited projects and invite colleagues.

2) Only once per project, create metadata extraction template from your example document to mark drawing number and revision field locations for more accurate extraction (no template needed is coming soon!)

3) Create a share, add recipients, optional additional notes and upload your files.

4) The metadata is automatically extracted. Make quick bulk or individual corrections, if required.

5) Click send. You and the recipients will receive a link to download files.

6) All documents, shares, delivery and downloads are organised by project and tracked.

7) Download issue register at any time and see history of sent shares in the dashboard.

Do my recipients need to sign up?

No, they receive a unique and secure link via email to download the files and issue register per share.

How to export issue registers?

To ensure you always have access to the issue register, there are multiple ways to get it:

You and recipients always receive an email with issue register as content of the email so you have it without access to the platform
Download via share link from the email
Download via platform per share or per project

No matter if files are deleted, you always have access to the issue register.

How does document versioning control work?

You don't need to worry about managing versions or overriding previous documents. The system relies on the extracted metadata, specifically the "drawing number," to track and display versions of matching drawings or document numbers.

What payment methods can I use?

Card or invoice. Monthly or yearly payment options. Cancel anytime in your dashboard.

How do I cancel?

You can cancel at any time yourself in the dashboard, no questions asked. If you cancel, you will continue to have access to the paid features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

Can I trust Share&Log? How safe is it?

To ensure your files are protected from attack or exploitation, they are encrypted during transfer and while stored. Access to the files is strictly controlled and only possible through unique, secure links provided to the sender and recipient. All files are stored in secure data centres located in the UK, ensuring compliance with local data protection regulations.
